My hospitality journey began with Certificate IV and Diploma studies, and I am now completing my Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management. This course has helped me develop a strong understanding of business operations and what is required to start and manage a restaurant or other hospitality-related business.
One of the reasons I chose Altec College was its diverse and welcoming environment. The campus is conveniently located and easy to access, and the college provides excellent teachers and facilities that support students throughout their studies.
Since arriving, I have made many friends in my classes and through community groups. Being involved with the African community has helped me settle into life in Australia, meet new people, and feel supported in a new environment. I studied Cert 4 in kitchen management and diploma of hospitality and had the finest experience at Altec. I have previously studied short term courses at different colleges but the work ethics of Altec staff are extraordinary. Teachings of Shashi sir are far more than the academic curriculum and are effectively useful in living in a city like Melbourne. I just had my graduation today and had tears while leaving, thinking about how I am gonna miss this college. Everything was upto date. At any stage, I was facing any trouble, the management helped me greatly. If you are enrolling in this college, forget about your worries or doubts you have, you will have a great time and will leave with the best teachings of your life. I got a bit emotional today thinking I won’t be returning to this place and I am never gonna find a teacher like Shashi Sir. I am really thankful Sir. I wish all the best to ALTEC team in future!
