Hello, my name is Hoang. I am Vietnamese and currently studying at Altec College. In 2024, I studied Certificate III and Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, and now I am studying the Diploma of Hospitality. In Certificate III, you study both theory and practical classes, and you also get the chance to train in a commercial kitchen, which helps you improve and learn many practical skills. During my work placement at a restaurant, I was lucky to receive a job offer from the owner, and I have been working there since 2025 until now.

I studied Cert 4 in kitchen management and diploma of hospitality and had the finest experience at Altec. I have previously studied short term courses at different colleges but the work ethics of Altec staff are extraordinary. Teachings of Shashi sir are far more than the academic curriculum and are effectively useful in living in a city like Melbourne. I just had my graduation today and had tears while leaving, thinking about how I am gonna miss this college. Everything was upto date. At any stage, I was facing any trouble, the management helped me greatly. If you are enrolling in this college, forget about your worries or doubts you have, you will have a great time and will leave with the best teachings of your life. I got a bit emotional today thinking I won’t be returning to this place and I am never gonna find a teacher like Shashi Sir. I am really thankful Sir. I wish all the best to ALTEC team in future!
