ALTEC College Co-hosting “Re-Imagining and Restoring India’s Architectural History with Aman Nath”

A Not-for-Profit (Free) event has been organised with an intent to broaden the understanding of Indian traditional & cultural art forms to Australian audiences.

Join us, as historian and graphic designer Mr. Aman Nath reflects on his 40 – year career as Founder and Chairman of Neemrana Hotels (www.neemranahotels.com), he will be presenting a talk on “Much you imagined about India isn’t true …and how the dead is being made alive”, mainly focussing on India’s deep forgotten heritage and his restoration efforts in India.

Known for restoring some of India’s most historic properties into modern day heritage hotels, Nath will showcase 24 of Neemrana properties that date back to the 14th century and encompass more than 700 years of Indian history.

Nath has co-written and authored fourteen illustrated books on art, history, architecture and photography. Two of which have won National Awards in India. His book ‘Jaipur’, was the first Indian book chosen to be marketed internationally by Christie’s.

Aman Nath, an Indian historian with multiple interests and professions navigates his diverse country where ‘less’ is philosophically understood as ‘more’. This very different photo lecture will make you realize that much of what you imagine about India isn’t true at all.

See how Mr. Nath has given India’s past a new life through the Neemrana ‘non-hotel’ Hotels.
