Packaged Courses

ALTEC offers vocational and higher education packaged courses to international students, where they enrol in a more than one qualifications or courses with the highest qualification being the principle course of study.

Packaging especially allows new graduates to start their academic journey from an entry level qualification and ease their way into further or higher education.

ALTEC currently offers the following packages to both on-shore and off-shore candidates;

Vocational (VET)Advanced Diploma course packaged with preliminary Certificate and Diploma Course
Duration: 2 – 2.5 years
Pathway: Bachelor’s Degree with advanced credits
Higher EducationPackaged with ALTEC’s vocational courses.
Duration: 3 – 3.5 Years
Pathway: Master’s Degree
English (VET): Candidates with an IELTS score LESS than 5.5Certificate III in EAL packaged with ALTEC’s vocational Courses.
Duration: 0.5 – 1 year EAL + 2 year Vocational Package
English (Higher Education: Candidates with an IELTS score LESS than 6.0Certificate IV in EAL packaged with Bachelor program
Duration: 25 weeks of EAL + 3 year Bachelor’s


All the above package are offered under the respective ALTEC arrangement with Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP).


Potential candidates who do not have the required IELTS score of 6.0 for direct entry into higher education courses can now access ALTEC’s packaged vocational courses to transition into degree programs through ALTEC’s one (1) year diploma pathway program.

Vocational (VET)Diploma course packaged with a preliminary Certificate Course
Duration: 1 year
Pathway: Advanced Diploma or A DIRECT ENTRY with an advanced credit of one (1) year (Transition directly into second (2nd) year bachelor’s degree program)
